With 500 villages to visit, our mobile eye camp have a packed calendar. Our eye camps go out to the community and the schools. Children are very often suffering eye problems through a vitamin A deficiency. We provide vitamin tablets and nutritional biscuits.
The elderly are normally suffering from poor vision due to the formation of cataracts. So we help them by providing cataract surgery. We’ve carried out 3,000 operations to date. SCAD can conduct a cataract operation locally for £6.50 because of local ties with hospitals and this changes peoples lives.
If you’d like to help change more lives, support our work by getting involved.
